Just before 3:00 p.m. this afternoon WCSART responded to a female hiker on Rock Bridge Trail (#207) with lower leg injuries. Team members were able to stabilize the subject’s injuries and package her in a rescue litter for carry out. After reaching the trailhead the subject self transported to a hospital with the assistance of her fiancé. A huge thank you to the U.S.Forest Service employees and interns who were working nearby and lent a hand on the carryout.
