This afternoon, WCSAR responded to an injured hiker along the Angel Windows Trail. The male subject tripped sustaining a lower leg injury. Team members arrived on scene, assessed the injury and applied a vacuum splint for the carryout. The subject was carried back to the trail head and handed off to our partners at Cross Medical Response then transported to Clark Regional for definitive care. We wish him a speedy recovery.
