WCSART has always been about more than rescues, so when a teacher at Rogers Elementary asked for someone to speak to students, David Maloney stepped up to the plate to talk about rescue work and the importance of being involved in your community.
Also, as part of our community outreach, we completed another roadside cleanup in the Gorge for the Adopt a Highway program. We thank all the team members who pitched in, and let’s all work together to keep the RRG pristine by not throwing garbage out your windows when visiting. A special thanks to Powell County Tourism Commission that provided lunch to the team members who came out to pick up trash in June.
