The week of Independence Day continued to be a busy one with a rescue at Creation Falls on Rock Bridge trail for a hiker suffering from respiratory distress from a severe asthmatic episode.
Earlier this same week, the team responded to two lost hikers on Swift Camp Creek Trail, and we participated in a mutual aid call with Powell County SAR for a heat exhaustion on Auxier Ridge Trail.
Stay hydrated and take frequent rest stops in the shade while hiking in this heat and humidity. It can affect the most hardy of hikers. Happy 4th of July and Happy 250th America.
